PRESIDENT'S ADDRESS
Since December 1996, the family of Sophie has continued to struggle in the pain of loss. Nonetheless the family has never ceased to hope for justice.
But after eleven years of repeated requests from the Irish and French Justice authorities, expectations, false hopes, the situation reached an unbearable level.
It was urgent to boost this fight for truth and justice in the sharing by those that injustice revolt, whether or not they have known Sophie. That is the raison d'être of our Association created on 29 December, 2007.
After almost fifteen years of existence of our group, all of us, through our membership or many other kind of support, we have brought certainty to the son of Sophie, her parents, her brothers, that they no longer feel isolated to face premature and empty announcements, false certainties and various hindrances.
The questions that our Association and the family of Sophie have raised will soon find answers favourable to the realisation of ours goals, thanks to the strength of the collective actions already undertaken, as well as those envisaged in the future.
