The first actions of the ASSOCIATION for the truth about the murder of SOPHIE TOSCAN DU PLANTIER born BOUNIOL have allowed already to :
- gather many information on the history of the murder and police and judicial process that followed in Ireland and France. A masterful synthesis, known to the highest authorities in France and Ireland was developed by Marie-Victoire Louis during the winter 2008,

-make ourselves known by informing the press and appear in numerous articles in newspapers, by opening the “ http://www.assoph.org/assoph.org/Welcome.html” website accessible worldwide.

-Broadcast on TV channels TF1, FR2, FR3, Itele, BFM-TV, RTE, and radios stations Europe 1, RTL,
- establish lasting contacts with Irish actors (Senator, journalists, associations) and French actors (French embassy in Dublin, Department of Justice). Establishing close contacts with leading journalists allowed us to move efficiently,
- call the Irish and French authorities at the highest level to bring the case forward,
- get from the Irish authorities the transfer of the first official documents on the investigation and to put pressure on them to access the file,
- support the family of Sophie in his fight for truth and justice (hiring of a high-profile lawyer, Maîtres Spilliaert and Dupond-Moretti, in the accompanying procedures and visits to Ireland, work, etc.).
